Mario's Kitchen

We have been going ther for some years . The dishes are good but they used to be fantastic . An ongoing peeve with this and others to be fair , is the training or lack of , that encourages servers to whisk away plates while other diners at the table are still eating . This is rude to say the least and precludes any thought of desserts or apperitifes and conversation to conclude a diner out . I should also say precludes any inspiration to tip such unprofessional behavior . These comments are directly aimed at management who think turn-over is the key to success . Turn-over means I,m spending my money elsewhere , Thankyou .

The best restaurant in Tsawwassen.

I loved this little place. We found it by chance on our way to the Point. What a nice surprise. The food was really good and the service was fantastic. I definitely recommend this spot!

Bad economy? Just stop by this place and you see no lack of people spending money. We waited in a line on a Wednesday night. Our food was great as usual and the staff are always fun, just really good people there.

This is still our family's favorite place for pizza, anywhere.

This restaurant always has awesome pizza. I got to have my favorite big hawaiian the other day. I worked there last year and then moved. I miss the pizza! They can run out of pizza like any busy place sometimes. They make as much as they can everyday. There is only so much room. It takes hours to make fresh dough. You can't just wip it up. Must be good to sellout! Cant wait for my next trip home.

best pasta around by far.

I was just at MK's to have my favorite pizza (Mediterranean). I moved back east the past year and miss it. It was as good as ever! I see the writer before me is confused about why places can sell out of pizza. I used to work there and another pizza place. Dough is made fresh everyday. It takes hours to make, proof and press it. They make as much as they can physically house. It is a small place that is very busy and when you run out on exceptionally busy nights (like a friday), nothing can be done. No more can be made in advance. They use to run out the odd time but if they are, it means the pizza must be good! You'd think a person would know that or call to ask instead of just complain? To all the MK pizza fans that still live there, you're lucky!

really, really, good! I will be back very soon. The pasta was fantastic with plenty of seafood and reasonably priced. The kids love the pizza. I enjoy it a little too much as well.

I was in on a Friday with my family and everyone had a nice meal as usual. The ribs were the best I have had any place. My wife was impressed with her pasta and she is a very good cook. Both our girls can't stop asking when we are going back. The manager Penny introduced herself when she personally checked on us. It was another fun night at Mario's.

I can not say enough good things about our recent visits. Mario's is always enjoyable. This very busy place stills keeps it moving and we always seem to arrive right in the rush! Try the ribs and try to arrive a little early.

Went with my grandma, she had the pork fried rice, I had the beef wellington. Everything was great.

I have to say, this is one of the most enjoyable places I've dined in a long time. The food was good but the service really made this memorable. Despite it being busy it was quick and our girl (shanon) took care of everything. It was a fun night and I definitely recommend it.

I cant believe a restaurant this good is in Tsawwassen. We went with friends who live there and they rave about it. We were soon believers too! It was a really fantastic evening. Our meals were perfect and what service. I'm already craving the pasta.

As of the Spring of 2006, Mario the main character in Super Mario's Kitchen left the restaurant to pursue other culinary realms.
Shortly after his departure, his 2nd in command Luigi was busted in the walk in cooler smooching with Princess Daisy and was later banished to magic mushroom land where he constantly is being chased by his own shadow. Princess Daisy the cutie hostess gave up on life and moved in with King Koopa, in Castle Illuminati.
This disastrous breakdown of the original characters has left Mario's Kitchen in the grips of the evil alien Tatanga and is in an state of utter disaray.
The kitchen is run by a buncha toads who spit in the food and served by disfigured toadettes.

Really, really, good! I was thoroughly impressed and I'm not often, coming from a restaurant background. Our food was very good and it was great value. The waiter provided tremendous service and was genuine. This place was very busy on a Wednesday night, yet all of our food was quick, hot and impressive. I see now why it was so busy. Kudos to everyone there, keep it up, I can't wait to return.

Always great, we go twice a week and order in at least once a week, super food and service.

Awesome... Great Pizza

I am from out of town and was recommended to try Mario's Kitchen and I must say that my experience was amazing. I walked in the door and was greeted by a friendly young lady, then proceeded over to the bar to be served a drink while I waited. After waiting a short 10 minutes the hostess took me to my seat and I enjoyed a lovely Prime Rib dinner. I've read most of these reviews and most of them seem a little absurd, but with the experience I had I will be returning as soon as I am back in town.

I just moved to Tsawwassen and I tried out Mario's Kitchen and to my delight it was a fantastic experience. The mood set in the restaurant is very welcoming and all the staff seem to be having a great time serving you. The food served at MK is some of the best I have ever feasted on. Try The gourmet pizza or the Tortellini De Casa. Weather it is pasta, pizza, ribs, steak, Mario's has it all. I would recommend this fine establishment to anyone who has a watery desire in their mouth to feast to their hearts content.

I almost didn't wait for the line up friday but am I ever glad I did! it was super. the place was really busy and yet we got seated in just 10 minutes. the girl that served us was lovely and our meal was equally as good and fast. It was a perfect evening! Thank again you Mario's Kitchen.

hahaha the food definately does not make you feel like a brand new man... it does fill you up though. The product is fairly inconsistant, every other time we order it is different. Many times our order has been taken incorrectly as well.

The young girls that work there are either alwasyy talking or having a nervouse breakdown. I wouldn't recomend the place.

It's funny how they darken out the negative reviews LOL! However, Mario's isn't all that great! It's hit and miss quality. One night it's delicious and the next it's the worst. We haven't been back for close to a year now. Blahh food was our last experience. Perhaps they have teenaged cooks?

I don't live in Delta but when ever I am here my sister always takes me to Mario's Kitchen because it had always been my favortie place to eat. Recently I went in for dinner, and hadnt been in a over a year or so was so unimpressed with the quality, service and cleanliness. I ordered pasta which took 45 minutes to get to my table but it was cold when it got there! My sister had pizza, which had a thin soggy crust and lacked flavor completely. When I made a bathroom stop, it looked as if someone hadn't been into check on it all day... toilet paper everywhere and big soap spots on the counter, with one of the two toilets needing some serious attention. When the server gave us our bill, she didnt say anything to us, but clearly knew we were NOT happy. We left without a manager asking us anything about our dinner and without a goodbye from the hostess that was standing doing at the station doing nothing.
Chnages have definatly taken place here, and not good ones.

I recently tried Mario's Kitchen and was completley impressed. It was very busy but the wait went surprising fast and it was well worth it. Right next door are three other restaurants but when we noticed no line-ups, we decided to stay put! Must be a reason we thought. Really friendly staff and the manager or owner even came by to check on us and was very engaging. I absolutley recommend this place.

Some of the best food I have ever tasted. Always a friendly place for family or a quite dinner for two. Fast and exceptional service. Freindly staff. A great choice!!!

Known Mario for many years and the best thing that ever happened to Mario's Kitchen was him leaving. I enjoy being a patron again and it has definatley improved across the board.

Just read some of these unfriendly reviews and obviously their not going to the same restaurant we frequent on average twice a week or, other motives are underlying here??? Line up every night and busier than ever, tells the real story. This is one of the best places around... period! Fast friendly service and the food is always very good. You only have to look around to see how clean the place is from the exceptional staff to the washrooms and everything else. Do yourself a favour and don't miss it!

Put the Mario back in Mario's Kitchen and you have a restaurant again.

Being mediocre is what i think to be the best thing about Mario's. Other than the food, this restaurant is satisfactory. Call me old fasioned, but when I go to a restaurant, im expected to have food on time, correct, and clean. I don't want to sound unfair but most of the time it's a coinflip. When I feel lucky some nights, i go to Mario's.

We've been going to Mario's for years and find it better than ever! It is still one of our favorite places and we eat out a lot! It would be hard to find a busier place that consistantly does such a good job. It has only improved in experience if anything. The regular staff always seem to provide personable, friendly service, even during their busiest times!

FANTASTIC! Food, Service and fun place to eat and drink! Always busy with a line up during dinner but worth the wait and it's part of the experience.

I've recently noticed a trend here where the overall quality of Marios Kitchen has gone downhill. It seems as though they have young immature managers running around like chikens with there heads cut off. This restaurant has gone downhill, highly disappointed.

I think the service and possibly cleanliness of Mario's Kitchen has gone downhill from a couple years ago. I recently ate there with a part of 5 other people, and 3 of the dishes that came to our table had hairs in them. I don't know what kind of sanitation precautions the kitchen makes (Do they wear hairnets?), but after that, I wasn't quite in the mood to eat food so soon anymore, for obvious reasons. Overall an average restaurant that could do a few important things to improve itself.

Kinda unproffessional on Saturday, we went to go to Marios, it was like 430, no one had turned the open sign on, so a lot of people thought they were closed and drove away, we checked the door and the lady said come on in were open, other than that exceptional perfect service, all food is awesome here.

Everything I have ever ordered here has been amazing. Good quality, well priced food, and an excellent atmosphere help make this restaurant one of my favourites.

ps. Try the curly fries!

I have been a fan of mario's kitchen for quite some time now. however, lately i have noticed that there have been some changes in the food. i have noticed that a new owner has taken over, and is possibly responsible for these changes. overall, the restaurant has gone downhill.

The food is overall quite good. The only issue would be that sometimes the kitchen is not cooking the meats to the degree requested. If you order med-well, you are likely to get medium. Pity. But then the other food on your plate can make up for their lack of continuity.
